About the Authors of AIM HIGH!

Kalev Pehme is the past-editor of Chess Life, the internationally recognized chess publication and the foremost chess magazine in the U.S. Before moving to Southern California in 2007, he was an adjunct professor at St. John's University where he taught in the communication, journalism, and media department. In the past, he was the editor of a number of weekly newspapers, including Our Town, the then-largest community weekly in New York and the East Side Express.

Brad Berger has been an attorney for over thirty-five years. He is a pioneer in the field of law and was the first lawyer to advertise on television and radio and in newspapers in New York State after the Supreme Court decision in June 1977 that allowed lawyers to advertise. Brad is the sole owner and operator of his law firm, Berger Attorney, rated "av" by Marindale Hubbell. He is admitted to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, the District of Columbia, and before the United States Supreme Court.

Both Brad and Kalev are fathers and Kalev is a grandfather as well. Brad and Kalev were teenagers at one time.
